Eclipse Lasers are a family business, set up after a horrific experience after purchasing a Tattoo Removal Laser from another UK distributor, who for legal reasons shall remain unnamed :-)

After speaking to the retailler i decided to buy from them because:

a. They were based in the UK, which is obviously a better option when it comes to warranty and service work.
b. The machine was CE Certified
c. Very helpful when i asked/emailed questions etc. .
d. Training was provided, which was obviously an important factor.

For me, these points outweighed the extra cost, for what i considered piece of mind with essential customer support. BUT, after i paid for my machine, everything went downhill from there . . . . !

Delivery was stated as 10 days, after 5 weeks (and many, many messages and phone calls) they sent a different machine to what i brought which was damaged, had missing parts, and was not CE certified. This was replaced by an identical machine which was CE marked, but still different to what i ordered (and still had the missing parts !!).

The machine came with safety glasses, but these were illegal and not CE marked to EN207 (saw the same glasses on eBay for $10.00 so i would guess that they are not the best for the job either !!)
From this point the seller refused to communicate with me and after several months my training did not materilise either.

I ended up having to source suitable training for myself, I did manage to get a partial refund through Google Checkout though, to cover the training costs.

There is much more to this story, and it has been going on for a long time now. I do not ever want anybody else to experiance the problems i have encountered, and this is what prompted the start of Eclipse Lasers, the rest is history as they say.
